I want to buy 2nd class Eurail Pass Italy, but I'm not sure if I can use it for night rail from Venice to Rome?

I'm not sure if I'm Buying the correct rail pass, coz I need to travel night rail. If I use the Eurail Italy Pass, can I upgrade it to use the rail night? How much do i have to pay extra? Or I need to get Other ticket to take the night from rail Venice to Rome? Thanks for helping me.
